Rapid & Comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment (Eia) Studies

These reports provide an in-depth study of the environmental baseline conditions on site as well as to highlight the feasibility and viability of projects. An environment management plan forms part of the main report and helps ascertain the potential impacts of construction, changes to the environment due to the project and possible mitigation solutions that could help balance these adverse impacts. A monitoring plan is formulated to ensure the mitigation actions are effectively put in place.

Socio-Economic Impact Assessment (Sia) Study

In the event that the project causes displacement of persons or is within a 10 km area of human settlements a demographic study of these aspects is carried out. The cultural, religious, infrastructural and other aspects within the study area are analyzed. The potential benefits of the project to these people is also discussed.

Risk Assessment and Disaster Management Plan (DMP)

Industries are required to prepare DMPs to ensure preparedness in the event, a natural or man-made disaster strikes. The DMP will provide pre-disaster precautionary measures, a systematic plan of action during disaster and emergency procedures to be followed.

Biodiversity Impact Assessment Study

The biological aspects within a 10 km radius of the project site are inventoried and included in an impact assessment report.
